Jeremie Boga

Logo & bespoke website design
2021

Key responsibilities/achievements

  • Simple but effective logo design

  • Bespoke web design and UI/UX

  • Complex photo montages, collages & illustration

  • Managed web developers to ensure my designs worked online

  • Ran stakeholder and client feedback meetings

  • Responsive device and data tracking

Jeremie Boga, a professional footballer from the Ivory Coast, wanted a portfolio website to showcase his career achievements, highlight his current form, and promote his sponsorships and charity initiatives in order to initiate a transfer.

My role was to design a bold, dynamic logo that would serve as Jeremie’s personal brand—a distinct visual identity that encapsulates his unique style. This logo was then applied to a fast-paced, responsive layout that mirrored his energetic playing style. Given the site’s concise content, my primary focus was to create engaging visuals using a mix of illustrations and Photoshop collages. These were set against a fluid, textured background of vector and line drawings, adding movement and depth to the design.

I particularly enjoyed this project because of the creative freedom it offered. Without the constraints of corporate guidelines, I was able to experiment with animation and dynamic elements, resulting in a site that feels alive and engaging. The flexibility to focus on image-driven storytelling made it an exciting opportunity to push the boundaries of web design.
